BLUE MOUNTAIN AGAIN CONTINUES TO BE "THE MOST"
New Trails and Glade Areas Added
PALMERTON, PA - Commanding a high ridge alongside the Appalachian Trail, Blue Mountain is a big Pocono Mountain resort and it is getting bigger. Two new slopes and trails will dazzle skiers and riders with new challenge and new learning opportunities. This brings the number of trails at Blue to a whopping 39, the most in the state. Along with more trails guests will get more time. Their beginner guests can enjoy a lesson that gives them all the time they need to learn. This beginner lesson gives the guests access to Blue's open-ended instruction. Their daily ticket can be used all day, until they can stop and turn.
LOVES TO LUGE
This season Blue Mountain is a US Luge Training and Recruitment Site. Located next to their tubing park, Blue will have the only East Coast natural US Luge track that is open to the public. They will also have official US Luge coaches working to evaluate their guests to possibly be selected for the US Olympic team. Guests can purchase three runs for $10.
BLUE PASSPORT
Look for a big bump in snowmaking this season on a mountain that has grown to an impressive 39 runs spread over 164 skiable acres. Last year they added the Blue Mountain Passport, this season there are increased discounts by purchasing your ticket online and heading straight to the slope. Enjoy the money-saving offers and get the convenience of skipping the ticket windows by going directly to the lift with Blue's Passport card. Visit www.SkiBlueMt.com for all the details.
