DAY TWO LEADER - Jack Wagner maintained the lead with a +23 for a +52 top score, adding to his Day One score of +29, Wagner was confident of a good day on Sunday to finish atop the pack, and he came through with a three-point victory over Tony Romo. Tony Romo jumped to 2nd place with a +27 to add to his +19 Friday score for +46. Chris Chandler slipped to 3rd with only a +18, for a two-day total of 42. Actor Oliver Hudson nearly doubled his first day score of +14 with a +27 to claim 4th place. Friday's breaking news... College basketball great Jimmer Fredette, (BYU) paired with Barkley yesterday must have inspired Sir Charles who actually had two par holes and "improved" his game to a -52. Fredette was worse and is at the bottom of the pack with a -58.

DAY TWO SPECIAL EVENT - an appearance by award-winning chef and NBC host, Guy Fieri. This is Fieri's 3rd straight year of attending the American Century Championship and providing food to players and spectators at the event. Chef and Game Show Host Guy Fieri serves up some pizza from a "portable" wood-fired brick oven. The very personable host of NBC's game show, "Minute to Win It" and several Food Network shows including "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" thrilled the crowd once again making gourmet pizzas and handing them out to spectators.

Digger Phelps visits the American Century Press Room in Edgewood Tahoe to check his phone for urgent calls, of which there were none. The long-standing, pre-cell phone tradition continued again in 2011.
