Buddy's Run, named for legendary Steamboat racer Buddy Werner, 3-time Olympian - 1956, '60 & '64. He died in 1964 in a Swiss Alps avalanche. His memory survives on Mount Werner and Steamboat's Bud Werner Memorial Library.

New Teton Lift Tram and Corbet's Colour Top of Tram Cabin Casper Lunch and Lift

JACKSON HOLE, WY (03-30-16) -
To help celebrate Jackson Hole's 50th year, the resort added the new high-speed Teton quad. The lift rises to new groomers and gladed trails, cut this past summer above their Apres Vous area.

Jackson's famed Corbet's Couloir is shown in the center of the photo as the tram has just passed on its right. Corbet's is just one of Jackson's legendary expert chutes that have challenged skiers since 1965.

At the top of Jackson's Tram, 4,139 feet above the base, stands Corbet's Cabin a warming hut where waffles and drinks await skiers/riders. When the near-roof-top snow melts, it serves summer guests who ride the scenic tram.

Lake Louise Gondola Pierre's Top of Bridger Sunshine New Bubble Lift Ride in Powder
BRIDGER BOWL, MT (03-26-16) -
Emil's Mile trail and the South Bowl off Pierre's Knob Lift provides steeps as well as groomed trails to delight skiers on a sunny Saturday after a Friday snowstorm. Bridger is a gem just north of Bozeman, Montana.

Outback Lift Mt. Bachelor Mt Hood Flags Northstar's Summit Lodge Selfie then ski

The Outback Lift services great blue and black terrain through long tree lines trails. The lift is below the peak's West Ridge area and in 2016 sees a 171" base with more than 421" of snow as of 3-15-16.

MT. HOOD MEADOWS, OR (03-14-16) -
A mid-March storm dumped another 27" as the deck shows while the flags unfurl. The resort has a mid-mountain base of 226" and snow total of 411" so far. It is a great snow year at Mt Hood Meadows and Mt. Bachelor.

Loon's Blue Ox trail is covered in snow as the snowmaking and grooming continues. The surrounding peaks are covered in snow to add to the view.
