DINOSAUR NATIONAL PARK, UT (07-30-16) -
The area occupied by Dinosaur Nat'l Park was once an ancient river, then a long drought killed many dinosaurs. As the climate changed back to extensive rains, flooding caused the dino-fossils to move downstream. As the floodwaters receded, the river slowed. The bones were drpped tp the river bottom and began to pile up and were covered with sand and mud. This resulted in a dinosaur bone"logjam" forming today's Nat'l Park.
