STEAMBOAT, CO (04-05-21) -
A frosty spring morning at the top of the gondola as rime forms on the aspen trees and snow lies on the evergreens. The valley is in view as well as a pointer to the base area. Steamboat's base will be transformed, beginning April 12, 2021.

COPPER MOUNTAIN, CO (04-08-21) -
A picture perfect spring day along the Collage Trail as this tree trunk remnant shows years of twisting in the Rocky Mountain breezes. The resort is located in Colorado along Interstate 70 shown below on the left of the tree trunk.

The blue bubble six-pack lift, American Flyer, provides a colorful ride for skiers and their cohorts. In the background are the picturesque snow-capped peaks of the Rockies Tenmile Range and their snow-filled avalanche chutes.

JWY-Elk Refuge Corbets Colour Tram, trail and scenery Lone Peak & 8-pack
JACKSON, WY (04-02-21) -
Jackson is home to a National Elk Refuge with sleigh or wagon rides from December to early April. Just north of town herds of 7,000+ elk leave the high country to find food. For a small fee you can get a safe, close distance from them, link here.

JACKSON HOLE, WY (04-01-21) -
One of the most famous trails in North America - Corbet's Couloir, seen in the center of the photo. The trail is legendary and an awesome annual competition - The Kings & Queens of Corbet's - can be viewed on their website's video gallery.

The eight passenger, blue bubble, heated seat lift, The Ramcharger 8, wisks riders from the base to numerous trails and other lifts. Lone Peak, and the trails below it, remain very scenic even on this partly sunny day.

Whitefish Scene Silver Lift 2 Silver Panorama Gliding in Powder
WHITEFISH MOUNTAIN, MT (03-26-21) -
Pointing the way to Whitefish's North Side area is the Russ's Street trail. This inspiring view looks towards Glacier National Park and the many geographical features in the distance while showing the large amount of recent snow on the trees.

SILVER MOUNTAIN, ID (03-24-21) -
Nestled along I-90 in northern Idaho in Kellogg is the powder paradise of Silver Mountain. Near the top of Lift 2 the evergreens show the huge amount of snow the resort has received this season, more than 240 inches and counting.

From Silver's Centennial Trail a panoramic view of their Chair 3 trails are in full view on this bright day. Silver has 1,600 skiable acres with 77 named trails providing 2,200 feet of awesome vertical and a great balance of beginner to expert terrain.

Cruising Lookout's Bonanza Trail on a snowy day on the mountain. Lookout is located at "Mile 0" on the Montana-Idaho border, Not only can you ski in two states but also in two time zones - Mountain and Pacific - which is unique to this resort.

Mt Bachelor Cone Lake Tahoe view Squaw-Granite Chief Off Treeline Cirque Lift
MT BACHELOR, OR (03-19-20) -
The view of the volcano that is Mt Bachelor on this sunny day, with the Summit open for 360-degree skiing. The Skyliner high-speed quad lift line shows the way to the Summit Lift which is visible on the left. This mountain is an awe inspiring sight.

SQUAW | ALPINE, CA (03-17-21) - -
The Lakeview Trail off of Squaw's Red Dog triple chair fulfills it name with a gorgeous view of Lake Tahoe, center. New snow is prominent on the evergreens and surrounding mountains and provides another scenic backdrop.

SQUAW | ALPINE (03-15-21) -
The Treeline Cirque lift at Alpine Meadows, in its 2nd year, enables easy access to the Sherwood back side or many intermediate trails on the front side via mid-station unloading. At the top, choices for either way are posted on these trees covered with new fallen snow.

Canyon Lodge Skirs on Climax Main Base at Mammoth Chair 23 to the top
MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, CA (03-11-21) -
The Canyons Lodge area shown from below the Canyon Express lift as the sun tries to break throught the snow producing cloud cover. The Canyon base area is full service, and easily accessed via the free Mammoth Village Gondola.

MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, CA (03-11-21) -
The Base Lodge area is a hub for the free town busses as well as a full service Base Lodge. Restaurants and bars are abundant. It is the center of many summer activities as well. Mammoth's snowfall totals saw a big boost after a 10 foot storm in February.

Riding Mammoth Mountain's Chair 23 to one of the highest spots on the mountain on a beautiful, sunny day. It provides access to steep and deep on the mountain's front amid lava fields covered in massive snowfall or to a path around the back.

The Eagle Points Stumble, not Rumble Alta Rollercoaster Alta  Slopeside
SOLITUDE MOUNTAIN, UT (03-06-21) -
One of Utah's four "Ski City" resorts of Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude, Solitude is a wide open cruising mountain on the front side and steep and thrilling terrain off of Honeycomb Canyon on the back side. The Eagle points the way to the cruisers on the front.

At Solitude a trio of cruisers have whimsical names where you can Rumble, Grumble and by no means Stumble along. All lead down to high-speed quad with many options as the Eagle sign at the top (photo on left) illustrates.

Great cruising on the Rollercoaster Trail accessed via the Sugarloaf Lift and overlooking the fantastic scenery of Utah's Wasatch Mountains. Alta is another of the four great Visit Salt Lake/Ski City Resorts and the Ski City Super Pass.
