Buddy Werner, for whom a trail and Mount Werner are named, was a visionary
of the great potential of this mountain to become a world-class destination.
A local tradition of tapping the statue for good luck started in the 70s.

Full steam ahead for a major base area redevelopment at Steamboat with the
installation of an escalator to get guests easily from the Transit center to the base

The famous Jackson Hole Tram rises above the Thunder Quad
near the top of its ride of 4,139 feet taking skiers and riders to challenging

JACKSON HOLE, WY (03-29-22) -
The top of the Teton High-Speed Quad provides riders with great views
of the flatlands that create the "Hole" in Jackson Hole, to the distant mountains.
The lift was installed in 2015 to serve more intermediate and expert terrain.

BIG SKY, MT(03-26-22) -
The new, blue bubble Swift Current 6 at Big Sky adds to their lift capacity to
quickly get guests to varying terrain. The new 6-pack accesses options off

Russ Street Flower Point Trails I-90 MT - Exit 0
WHITEFISH MOUNTAIN, MT (03-23-22) -
A skier makes turns on the Whitetail Trail one of the many blue trails on
he backside of the resort service by the Big Creek Express quad. In the

Looking down the Bonanza Trail at Lookout Pass Ski Area towards the
Day Lodge on the Idaho side of the area. Lookout Pass is located off MT's I-90's
Exit 0. Next season the area will double with 500+ more acres on the MT side.

Mt Bachelor Snow Day Mt Bachelor Summit view Summit Quad Base

The Sunrise Base area high-speed quad provides another scenic view of the top
of Mt Bachelor, a dormant volcano with 360 degrees of skiing around the
the formation. The Summit high-speed quad is shown rising to the peak.

at more than 7,300 ft with a 1,725 feet vertical rise to expert terrain. Below the

Tahoe & Scenery Mammoth Vastness McCoy Station

PALISADES TAHOE/ALPINE (03-16-22) -
A beautiful spring day at Alpine Meadows with Lake Tahoe in the background.
This resort is part of the Palisades Tahoe complex that will be merged with the formerly named Squaw Valley Resort via a new gondola in the 2022-23 season.

MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, CA (03-08-22) -
The Mammoth gondola rises above the Stump Alley Express quad. The famous Cirque Bowl awaits skiers and boarders at the top center of the photo. This vast area is only a small part of Mammoth Mountain with trails for everyone.

McCoy Station is the midway unloading point for mid-mountain skiers and diners at the large cafeteria also in the building. The gondola has mid-mountain loading to the top of the mountain or continues the ride to the top for those who boarded at the base.

Alta-Snowbird Gate Alta Saddleback Lift Tycoon at Deer Valley
ALTA SKI AREA, UT (03-02-22) -
Utah's Little Cottonwood Canyon has two great ski areas Snowbird and Alta.
They are connected via a gate located in the Mineral Basin area of Snowbird.
Both areas can be accessed via the Salt Lake Ski Super Pass.

The popular Razorback Trail flows alongside the Saddleback
high-speed quad. The trail goes to the base of the lift or the Supreme Lift

New Quad+Mt Timp Pyramid Peaks Snowmass Big Burn Area
SUNDANCE RESORT, UT (03-01-22) -
Spectacular views of Mount Timpanogos in the center background provide a scenic ride on the new "Outlaw Express" high speed quad at Utah's Sundance Resort. The new lift is one of many upgrades including their beginner area.

Cranmer Sign WIDTH= Snow day at W Park Elk Mtn Cruiser

The history of Winter Park's trails are noted by markers such as
this one saluting George Cranmer. Considered the "Father of Winter Park"
Cranmer was inducted into the Ski Hall of Fame in 1977.
