Jackson's Casper area became "ALL NEW - ALL BLUE" in 2013, great for intermediates.
For 2015-16, new trails and a new lift - "The Teton Lift" above their Apres Vous area.

For 2016-17 Jackson Hole added their 2nd gondola named the "Sweetwater Gondola" ...
For 2017-18 Jackson closed on April 8 after a winter season of 502 inches of snow.
In 2018-19 Jackson closed on April 9 after a winter with 505 inches of snow.


Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened Solitude Station in 2018-19 with 12,000 square feet of Mountain Sports School for children 7 years and older and adult lessons for all ability levels PLUS rental and dining facilities.


In 2020-21 Jackson Hole once again led all North American ski resorts with 502" of snow.

NBC's 2021 American Century Champion is Vinnie Del Negro, NBA legendary player, coach & announcer.
Decided by a one-round playoff, Del Negro, 69 pts,bested the leader Jon Smoltz, on the 18th hole to force the playoff and won in Sudden Death.
Smoltz finished 2nd with 69 pts; Tony Romo, recent two-time champ, finished 3rd with 66 pts.

Annika Sorenstam returned to the event after her appearance in 2014, where she ended tied for 2nd, and finished 4th with 61 pts in 2021.

More reports & photos for Sunday, July 11, 2021 - Del Negro got an emotional win after tying Smoltz on 18 and winning in a one-hole playoff. The fourth playoff in ACC history.
Later he annouced his father had passed away earlier in the week as he fought back tears discussing his win.
Smoltz, Hall of Fame MLB Pitcher, had 25 pts on Day 1 and 26 pts on Day 2 but could only get to 18 pts on Sunday to be tied for first with 69 pts.
He then lost to Vinnie Del Negro in a one-hole playoff after hitting his 3rd shot into a lake on the Par 5, 18th hole.
Actor Jack Wagner finished in 5th place scoring only 14 pts on Sunday. He fell from his 3rd place start on Day 3, to finish with 61 Stableford pts. Tony Romo moved up to 2nd with 66 pts.
LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam finished in 4th place with 64 pts, scoring only 18 Stableford pts on Day 3.

Stableford scoring rewards players with postive points for good play on each hole, and subtracts points for bad play.
A hole-in-one = +8 pts; Eagle = +6 pts; Double Eagle = +10; Birdie = +3; Par = +1 pt; Bogey = 0; Double Bogey = -2 pts.

Jackson is home to a National Elk Refuge with sleigh or wagon rides from December to early April. Just north of town herds of 7,000+ elk leave the high country to find food. For a small fee you can get a safe, close distance from them, link here.

One of the most famous trails in North America - Corbet's Couloir, seen in the center of the photo. The trail is legendary and an awesome annual competition - The Kings & Queens of Corbet's - can be viewed on their website's video gallery.

SILVER MOUNTAIN, ID (03-24-21) -
Nestled along I-90 in northern Idaho in Kellogg is the powder paradise of Silver Mountain. Near the top of Lift 2 the evergreens show the huge amount of snow the resort has received this season, more than 233 inches.
